A MAN in his twenties has been killed and a second is fighting for his life after a car plunged into a river.
The horror accident happened just after 10pm last night near Harlow in Essex.
Cops were called to reports that a car had careered off the road into the river in Burnt Mill Lane.
The men, both in their 20s, were pulled out of the motor and taken to hospital, where one of them died.
The other is in a serious condition.
Essex Police said: "At this stage we don't believe another vehicle was involved.
