Ghost Adventures: Disturbing figure caught on tape

A couple were warned of the creepy “secrets” a 130-year-old house they had just bought possessed in a chilling letter.

Courtney and Matt couldn’t believe their eyes as with their bags barely unpacked, a strange letter was posted through the letterbox of their new home.

Within the note, the couple were told there were some “secrets” they should know about the house.

The couple shared the letter during a terrifying TikTok video, through their account @living_in_history.

Courtney told viewers that the note was allegedly sent from Canada by the “last surviving member” of the family that previously owned the Victoria abode.

She said: “We got a letter addressed ‘purchaser’. It says, ‘Let me introduce myself. I am the last surviving member of the Madison family who once owned the house, and I grew up in it.’

“‘I would like to tell you about the secret rooms and a few things you may not have been told when you bought the house’.”

The couple soon moved to begin locating the secret rooms and whatever treasure may be located within them.

The first find the couple made was a secret compartment above the home’s fireplace. Upon opening, a horde of vintage liquor was found.

They were then instructed to go to another hidden location “in the [bathroom], directly opposite the door in the wall”.

The room was described by Courtney as “yy far the scariest room in the house” but said it was more “creepy” than secret.

She said: “I guess if you were a kid when you lived here you might be like, ‘Oh, cool secret room’.”

But in another room, there was a “huge space” hidden behind some wall paneling.

She said: “We’re going to try and figure out how to use this space, but right now it’s just kind of a cool, cool room.”

Courtney headed down into the basement where the room was located, but any access to a hidey hole that could have secrets behind it was locked.

Since moving in, the couple have found other creepy items within the home including a music box that plays a chilling version of The Wedding March.
