An eight-year-old girl performed CPR on her dying mother while waiting for emergency services after the woman was violently attacked in her Bendigo home.
Friends have described the brave girlâs actions as they continue to mourn Analyn Osias, also known as Logee, who was unresponsive by the time police arrived just before midnight on Sunday.

A blood-stained kitchen knife was found in the backyard of the family home as police launched an air and ground search for Osiasâ ex-boyfriend who was located about 5am injured in a nature reserve.
The 44-year-old from Junortoun in Bendigoâs east has been charged with murder and will appear at court on Thursday.
Described by members of Bendigoâs Filipino community as a dedicated single mum, Osias had confided to her closest friends that she was considering moving from Bendigo to Melbourne.
Osias had known her alleged killer for a long time as a friend of Timothy Dorrough, the father of her two youngest children. The pair dated briefly after Dorrough was hit and killed by a car on the Calder Highway, but she broke off the relationship a few months ago.

Close friend Roma OâDonnell said Osias had kept her relationship with the alleged killer very private even when they were together and that Logee had ended the relationship.
âEvery time we catch up on Monday she always want us to stay back or even have a sleepover there,â she said.
Osias has planned to spend the day after she died with her adult daughter who was celebrating a birthday.
Osias had written about how excited she was to watch her daughter grow up in a post published on her social media page hours before her death.
Analyn âLogeeâ Osias died after a suspected domestic violence incident.
âYouâre every bit the woman Iâd hoped youâd be and more,â she said. âNow I just sit and wonder about how much better youâll become. I canât wait to see how much further youâll go.â
Osiasâ accused killer had started attending the Pentecostals of Bendigo Church several months ago
He had been living with another church member and the community was hoping the arrangement would help him keep clear of Osias and her family.
This week, church attendees are among members of the Bendigo community grieving the loss of one of their own.
âWe all want justice for Logee,â OâDonnell said. âI am so worried about her children. Sheâs the kindest, friendly, most generous person I know.
âSuch a loving mum to her four kids. Sheâll do everything for her kids.â
