Three dead and several injured after car crashes into Royal Hotel's pub beer garden in Australia | The Sun

THREE people have been killed after a car crashed into a pub's beer garden in Australia.

The out-of-control vehicle slammed straight into the popular Royal Hotel at Daylesford, north west of Melbourne.


The horror crash took place just after 6pm on Sunday, Victoria Police confirmed on social media.

"Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash in Vincent Street Daylesford," the force wrote on X.

Emergency services, including four rescue helicopters, were dispatched to the pub and have asked members of the public to avoid the area.

Police have put diversions in place.

Three people have died and multiple others are injured.

The car reportedly also hit patrons.

The owner of a nearby pizza restaurant rushed outside when she heard a "loud bang".

"There was some kind of collision in the roundabout, I don’t know how many cars were involved," restaurateur Kitty Martin told the Herald Sun.

The pub is understood to have been busy all weekend and the courtyard is said to have been "packed" at the time. 

Anyone who has dashcam footage of the crash or any information is urged to contact cops.
