NETFLIX fans have made a desperate plea for the streaming giant to release another series of its highly acclaimed thriller after it recently dropped a new season.
The long-awaited return of Lupin has stormed up the trending charts and been labelled 'a real gem' by show viewers.
The third instalment of the crime drama Lupin is back, triumphantly returning to Netflix after a long wait for its fans.
Omar Sy replenished his lead role as Assane Diop, a "gentleman thief" and criminal mastermind who takes inspiration from the fictional character Arsène Lupin in season 3.
While committing various crimes, Assane seeks a better life for his son, Raoul, and has become an anti-hero fans have grown to love and adore.
The new season has had an impressive viewership so far on the streaming platform, and it's clear as day that the new episodes are going down a treat with fans.

Many fans have taken to X (Twitter)and expressed their opinions on the new series which was released on October 5, while others have requested a season 4.
One user penned: "Someone tells me there will be part four after the ending. It is in part three… if yes, it better not be another two-year wait. #Lupin."
A second added: "So we're definitely getting part 4 then cos no way is it ending like that #Lupin."
Another person echoed: "I'm done watching part three of #Lupin. Based on that cliffhanger, there will be a part four, right?"

Others highly praised the new season, with another person saying: "In a time where mindless reality and dating shows pass for entertainment, it's refreshing to watch a real gem like Lupin. So brilliant!."
The trailer for the third series of Lupin follows Assane as he creates another extravagant plan to take on a new steal – the Black Pearl from a high-end jewellery shop in the heart of Paris.
The synopsis read: "Now in hiding, Assane must learn to live far from his wife and son.
"With the suffering they endure because of him, Assane can't stand it any longer and decides to return to Paris to make them a crazy proposal: leave France and start a new life elsewhere.

Also included in the cast is Ludivine Sagnier as Claire, Assane's estranged wife and mother to his son; Antoine Gouy is back as Benjamin Ferel, a sort-of sidekick to Assane who helps him with his outlandish criminal plans.
Soufiane Geurrab, Guedira and Shirine Boutella Belkacem are also a part of the cast for the new series.
With many fans questioning whether there will be a fourth season of the hit crime drama, Netflix has yet to confirm whether Lupin will return.
Nevertheless, given the level of popularity, it's mostly likely that the streamer will endorse a new series.
