Home and Away star Kawakawa Fox-Reo looked unrecognisable in a series of resurfaced videos from when he was in drama school.
The actor played Nikau Parata from 2020 to 2023, bidding farewell to Summer Bay earlier this year to start a new life in New York with girlfriend Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller). During Friday's (October 6) episode of the Channel 5 soap, the character cropped up again after getting in contact with his uncle Tane (Ethan Browne).

Nikau revealed that his mum had been in an accident and broken her leg and collarbone as a result. He explained that he was flying out to New Zealand alongside Bella to be with her, prompting Tane to do the same.
Long before landing the role of Nikau, the actor attended drama school and shared a series of throwback videos on streaming platform Twitch. In one of the videos, the New Zealand-born star had a mullet and a British accent, making him worlds away from the character he played for three years.
Commenting on the clips, Kawakawa laughed: "They're pretty funny. Like, I was watching them back today and I was cracking up. Some of them are very s**t." In another video, the star sported a navy suit and blue tie while as he acted out a scene from the 2008 black comedy In Bruges.
"So the first note that I have is… boom, new haircut! The accent is dog s**t and it's kind of funny," Kawakawa told his followers. "And the hair and the pimply face, bro… yeah."
His followers couldn't help but compare him to singer Harry Styles due to his long hair in one of the types. One fan commented: "Okay, now you look like Harry Styles back then."
A second added: "Omg, I've never laughed so hard." While a third echoed: "Your hair back then reminds me of Harry Styles when One Direction first debuted."
