Hollyoaks bombshell Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) sent fans into meltdown in recent scenes as she embarked on a steamy affair with bad boy Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas).
Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) proposed to Mercedes earlier this week, unaware at the fact she cheated on him with his best friend, but she turned him down. While Felix is hearing wedding bells for the pair, will Mercedes try to salvage what they have and take the next step, or continue on her path of self-destruction?
Viewers have seen Felix turn to underground fighting in recent episodes, using it as a form of self-harm following his son leaving the village. His mental health struggles are due to come to a head when Felix heads to a quarry feeling disconnected from his loved ones.

Speaking about the steamy affair storyline, soap legend Jennifer Metcalfe said: "It was inevitable that she was going to cheat on Felix with somebody and I’ve worked with Jamie so much, the characters are great together, so if it was going to be anyone then Warren’s a good person for her to choose. The dynamic between the three of us is just brilliant."
Pearl Anderson (Dawn Hope) is worried about Felix as she becomes increasingly fed up with Mercedes' treatment of him. Is she concerned he might be about to become the McQueen’s eighth dead husband?
Next week, Mercedes tries to get to the bottom of where Felix is and if he caught the her and Warren in their secret affair. She is unaware that Warren knows exactly where Felix is.
During Wednesdsay's (September 27) episode, at the clifftop Felix and Warren sat together in a car at the clifftop, contemplating how to return to Hollyoaks village. An ambulance arrived at the scene and Felix told Warren he wants to go in it to seek help.
Knowing Felix is safe, Warren returned to the village and Mercedes, Felix is gone but wouldn't say where. He explained to Mercedes that Felix is escaping both of "their poison and warned her to stay away from both of them.
Distraught Mercedes demanded answers on Felix’s whereabouts and tries to plead with Warren to tell her what happened to Felix but he inisted Felix has run away and she should keep her distance from him too because he wants nothing to do with her.

Elsewhere in the village, Police stormed the mansion and the group are taken into custody as detectives probe a murder enquiry and study online footage following Rayne Royce's (Jemma Donovan) death. Secrets spilled in the interview rooms. Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson- Dwyer) had a motive because he was in bed with Faye Fuller (Maddy Smedley) but will she confirm that?
In the interviews, Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) suspects Rayne's ex Brent (Jesse Fox). Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham) protected Phoenix Hathaway (Tylan Grant) and pleaded for him to be let out. Lizzie Chen-Williams (Lily Best) rails from her cell about keeping Pheonix in custody. Cool-headed Nadira Valli (Ashling O'Shea) wants a lawyer but Peri Lomax (Ruby O'Donnell) thinks asking for one makes her look guilty.
