Virgin River Holiday Episodes: Teaser trailer

Denny Cutler (played by Kai Bradbury) has become a firm part of the close-knit community of Virgin River after arriving in town in season four of the Netflix hit.
The college student was searching for his biological grandfather Doc Mullins (Tim Matheson) following his father’s death.
He initially fell under suspicion when it was clear he was keeping secrets.
However, it later emerged Denny was suffering from Huntington’s Disease, a degenerative condition and he had limited time left.
Denny wanted to travel the world while he still had time and bring his girlfriend Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) with him, however, she then told him she might be pregnant with his backpacking plans thrown into jeopardy.
Virgin River fans are keen to know more about the fate of Denny Cutler with Robyn Carr’s novels offering some possible clues about the future of the character.
Does Denny die in the Virgin River books?
In the books, Denny is a former Marine who comes to Virgin River looking for his father before making it his home.
He is taken under Jack Sheridan’s (Martin Henderson) wing and Denny sees him as a surrogate father figure and a close friend.
Denny also has a romance with his ex-girlfriend and teacher Becca Timms in the novel Bring Me Home For Christmas, the 16th book in the series.
There’s nothing to suggest Denny dies in the books and instead gets a Virgin River happy ending with Becca after the couple get over their past issues.

The Virgin River novels serve as the inspiration for the TV show and are a loose basis rather than an adaptation.
While characters from Carr’s source material are featured, the books take a very different turn to the TV show.
This means some of the book storylines could be used by the show but it looks like Denny’s storyline is quite different from original text.
Therefore, Denny’s fate in the TV show remains unknown.
Fans have already been speculating what could happen to Denny and Lizzie’s baby with some suggesting a tragic fate.
Given the slow pace of Virgin River, there could be quite a while before fans find out Denny’s fate.
Then again, something tragic could always befall him before then or he could decide to leave Virgin River if things don’t work out with Lizzie.
There are also questions over the father of Lizzie’s baby and if Denny is indeed the father.
Virgin River season 5, part 2 will be released on Netflix on November 30
