EastEnders fans have been left distracted as an explosive bombshell was dropped on the show ahead of the huge Christmas murder storyline.
During the episode, which aired on Wednesday, 13 September, Chelsea Fox and Ravi Gulati tried to pull both of their families together as they marked moving in together.
However, as fans will remember earlier this year, Chelsea's mum, Denise Fox and Ravi had a fling, and it nearly resulted in the end of Denise's marriage with Jack Branning.
Since then, Ravi has got with Chelsea, but Denise has been trying to stop the relationship and bring Ravi down for his drug dealing crimes.
In tonight's episode, before the dinner, Denise overheard Gina Knight talking in the Queen Vic about Ravi's drug deals.
Denise was furious, but she headed to the party regardless and tried to play happy families.
However, it wasn't long before the party ended in a row, and Denise warned Ravi: "You hurt my daughter, I will come for you…"
That wasn't the only drama at the event, as Ravi was left panicked when he spotted his son Nugget using one of his old laptops to play background music for the guests to enjoy.
After watching Ravi get worried over the laptop, Denise decided to take it home and she asked her stepson Ricky Mitchell to help her recover some deleted files off the laptop.
When the files were recovered, Denise watched the CCTV footage of Ranveer's murder.
Fans will recall that Ravi edited the footage to make it look like Suki Panesar killed him, and Suki still thinks that is the truth to this day.
However, the footage that Denise watched shows that Ravi was the one who committed the murder.
As Denise finished watching the clip, the camera panned to behind her where Ravi was standing, and he said: "Anything interesting?"
Despite the dramatic scenes, the soap viewers at home were distracted by the fact that Ravi managed to let himself into Denise's house.
One person noted: "Don't ppl lock their doors on this programme? Ravi just waltzes right into Denise's house!"
While another added: "Also why doesn’t anybody lock their front doors in #EastEnders?"
This viewer commented: "How did Ravi get in, and how did Denise not hear the door open…."
However, this fan thinks they know how he managed to get in, as they wrote: "I said the same, but somebody thinks he has used Chelsea's key!"
