CORONATION Street fans have spotted a legendary sitcom star in the ITV1 soap.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed a new character introduced to the cobbles during Monday's episode.
Ram John Holder arrived in the Weatherfield as the father of Ed and Ronnie Bailey.
The 89-year-old is best known for his work on Channel 4's Desmond's as a barber shop owner from Peckham.
Desmond's ran for six series in total between 1989 and 1994 before being axed.
Reacting to Ram's return to screens, one Coronation Street fan said: "Brilliant to see Porkpie in Coronation Street! Legend! #Corrie #coronationstreet."

A second posted: ""Porkpie! Yes, what a legend!"
"Only Porkpie and Ronnie needed in the Bailey family please," said a third viewer.
While a fourth simply commented: "Omg it's Porkpie!"
During Ram's first scene in Corrie viewers also learnt that Aggie wouldn't be returning to the cobbles anytime soon.

Nurse Aggie Bailey – who is played by actress Lorna Laidlaw in the ITV soap – hasn’t been seen in Weatherfield since early June.
And bosses finally addressed her absence from the show.
It was revealed that Aggie is currently looking after her auntie Em and won't be back before Christmas.
