Hot off a lengthy world tour and now six Grammy nominations – including Album of the Year and Record of the Year – boygenius hit the Saturday Night Live stage for the first time as a supergroup. Phoebe Bridgers, who made her SNL debut back in 2021, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker showed up – suited up, of course – like absolute rockstars to deliver performances of the record tracks, “Not Strong Enough” and “Satanist.”
Joined by Timothée Chalamet as the host, the boys poked fun at the group’s notorious depressive demeanor in the episode’s cold open before taking to the stage to perform an electric rendition of “Not Strong Enough.”

After a stacked lineup of skits with Chalamet and the rest of the cast – including one which featured the four guest stars dressed as hallucinated Troye Sivans – the boys took the stage again for “Satanist.” The performance ended with Baker smoothly tossing her guitar offstage, a nod to Bridger’s legendary guitar smash during her 2021 performance of “I Know The End.”
Stream both performances above, and in other music news, PinkPantheress has dropped off her debut album, Heaven Knows.
