Queen Letizia stepped out looking typically chic today as she attended a work engagement in Toledo, Spain.

The mother-of-two, who attended the event with her husband King Felipe of Spain, cut an elegant figure in the cosy monochrome look.
Dressed aptly for the seasonal weather, the thick blazer featured a black checkered design set upon a dazzling white background.
The jacket helped curate a sophisticated theme for the monarch, as it featured a cinched waist and stylish chunky buttons at the centre.

To match, she donned black pencil cut trousers which stopped just above the ankle, while also wearing a pair of pointed black leather kitten heels.
Keeping things casual, she opted to forego a clutch bag and instead accessorised with just a simple ring on her index finger and a pair of white pearl drop down earrings.
For her hair, the queen sported her signature brunette locks with a side part and straightened style, which fell neatly behind her shoulders.
Her picture perfect make-up featured just a touch of bronzer, a natural glossy lip and smidge of black mascara.
Meanwhile, King Felipe looked exceptionally suave in a navy blue pinstripe suit and a crisp sky blue shirt.
He finished off the look with a stylish deep red tie and matching leather buckled loafers, while his left hand appeared wrapped in a black bandage.
The king was pictured strutting alongside his wife as both monarchs made their way into the venue.
Once inside the event, the queen was pictured presiding over the event, while also ensuring to greet all in attendance.

The news comes as the royal couple accompanied their daughter Princess Leonor to the solemn opening of the 15th legislature at the Spanish Parliament in Madrid on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old heir to the throne put on a stylish display in an emerald frock that boasted a billowing skirt and elegant sleeves, which she teamed with a tan coat and matching heels.
She wore medals around her neck, while adding a touch of glitz to her ensemble with a pair of dainty gold earrings.
Leonor finished off her look with a matching coffee-coloured clutch bag and added a smattering of glamorous makeup to her features.

Her mother, Queen Letizia, looked equally fashionable in a red long sleeved, A-line dress and matching heels, paired with a black cape.
She wore her chocolate brown tresses down and swept them behind her ears, exposing a pair of diamond earrings.
The queen donned a glamorous make-up look for the event, with a coral shimmery smokey eye and matching lip colour.
King Felipe, meanwhile, looked smart in a blue tie, white shirt and coat as he attended the occasion with his family.
His youngest daughter Infanta Sofía likely didn’t go to the event because she is currently studying at UWC Atlantic College in the Welsh county of Vale of Glamorgan.
