With the help of electronic watch specialist, Globics, Pininfarina just released its first-ever smartwatch collection, SENSO.
Known for its luxury designs specifically within the automotive realm, Pininfarina’s offerings are always stylized for their elegantly innovative and sleek aesthetics. Synonymous with the Italian design house’s signature style, the SENSO collection is also set to redefine the smartwatch landscape with a concept that amalgamates analog time-tellers and contemporary technology.
Drawing inspiration from some of Pininfarina’s most iconic car designs, the collection features four references crafted from luxurious materials without compromising on performance. Arriving in an angular, 44mm stainless steel case, the watch is fitted with a round bezel and an elegant dial that looks dressy from afar.
On a closer look, the small, circular digital display is present just beneath the 12 o’clock mark, where it indicates the time and date. In addition, the watch also displays time in a more analog way, as it’s fitted with a luminous hour and minutes hand, as well as a small second subdial.
As for technical specifications, the SENSO is geared with multiple sensors that help to monitor everything from heart rate, oxygen, stress, and sleeping patterns, as well as fitness trackers for sports.
The SENSO collection offers four colorways, ranging from Slate Grey, Sunburst Rose Gold, Moonlight Silver, and Mercure Grey. Retailing for $399 USD, the assortment of references is now available at the Pininfarina Hybrid Watch website.
Elsewhere in watches, G-SHOCK and La Fam refresh the GMA S2100 with ’90s-inspired graphics.
