The fortunate punter, who entered the Wednesday, October 11 draw, is set to see the eye-watering windfall, Camelot UK confirmed.

Players can try their luck and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or visiting the National Lottery website.

Punters can also buy and check tickets in stores across the UK or play online.

Tickets bought in person can be checked by scanning them on the app.

Unclaimed jackpot money is given to the National Lottery's Good Causes.

To date, over £47billion has been raised for organisation, with more than 670,000 individual grants awarded. 

This comes as a lucky punter scooped an eye-watering £11.6million Lotto jackpot in July earlier this year.

A single ticket holder has claimed the life-changing sum after entering the National Lottery 'Must Be Won' competition.

Plus, a mum who won a life changing sum of money on the lottery has revealed the three things she can't wait to splash out on.
