Jadon Sancho 'closing in' on Man Utd exit with exiled England star in 'regular contact' with former manager | The Sun

JADON SANCHO is closing in on a Manchester United exit, according to reports.

The winger was banished from the first-team squad after hitting out at manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho's exile has sparked speculation he could leave with a January move now on the cards, reports Florian Plettenberg.

It is understood a loan is likely for the winger, who earns an estimated £350,000 a week at Old Trafford.

Sancho, 23, has been linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund following his successful spell with the club.

He is reported to be in regular contact with Dortmund manager Edin Terzic.

The pair worked together at the club previously while Terzic was assistant coach under Lucien Favre.

Sancho is believed to be wanted at Roma by Jose Mourinho, while Nottingham Forest have also been linked with a move.

Reports claim United are ready to accept a loss on the winger, who joined for £73million in 2021.

The Red Devils are already said to be lining up potential replacements for Sancho, with Juventus star Federico Chiesa on the shortlist.

Juve are expected to demand a fee in excess of £52million for the Italian international.

Sancho took exception to Ten Hag criticising his training levels, claiming he had been made a scapegoat.

It is believed he was offered the chance to return to the first team if he apologised to the Red Devils boss – but he refused to do so.
