‘I’m a 40-year-old grandma – I quit nursing to make a fortune bonking on camera’

A former cardiac nurse ditched her career to make five times as much cash stripping off and having sex on camera.

Jessika Rains spent 20 years working in hospitals before she made the lucrative switch and what's more, the 40-year-old married mum-of-four is also a grandma and says her new occupation allows her plenty of time to look after her two grandkids.

The self-dubbed GILF, from south west Florida, first dipped her toe in the industry in 2020, during the pandemic. She said year on year, her income increased exponentially until she was able to turn her back on the medical profession once and for all at the end of 2022.

Now boasting more than a million followers across her social media platforms, Jessika has no shortage of admirers enjoying her departure from the medical profession.

Jessika told the Daily Star that her change of career started at a time when she had low self-esteem and weighed around 40lbs more, only for her husband to make the saucy side-line suggestion.

She said she started up an Instagram account and began posting pics of herself in sexy poses and outfits.

Jessika says the response she received gave her a lot of self-confidence, and took her more towards a direction of self-love, whereas she had always been taking care of others.

She added that as well as being his initial suggestion, her husband of 17 years has been very actively involved in supporting her and helping to create content both in front and behind the lens.

"Solo stuff I typically shoot by myself, and then he films me with others," she said.

"We do film together, people love that. I think most people, when they hear that I'm a swinger or we're swingers, gets them a little more fuelled.

"People are really wrapped up in that lifestyle of 'wow people can be in a marriage and still share each other in intimate ways with others'.

"It's just sexual energy, where some fantasies require more than one person, that's what we go with, but he's very involved."

Jessika says that she also creates content with other women and enjoys taboo stuff.

However, she admits that when she is creating content for others, she still wants to have a connection herself.

"I'm very comfortable with role-playing, some creators don't like to do that type of thing, but I don't mind," she said.

"It doesn't bother me in that sense to be mommy, stepmom, that kind of stuff.

"If that's what gets you off, and it doesn't bother me, then I'm okay with it.

"That's what I always have to tell people. 'I'm trying to please you, but at the same time I'm trying to respect my feelings on situations and create genuine content that's going to come off that I'm enjoying it too'.

"I don't want to be there and fake some type of interaction just because you've paid me for it.

"I need some type of self-reward.

"So if it's something I haven't done, and I'm curious to see if it's going to pleasure me, then I will perform it.

"But if I know that it's just not in my wheelhouse, or not something that I'm going to connect with, I just decline the requests."

Jessika said despite making good money online, it was ultimately one grim situation led to finally made her life-changing decision to quit nursing.

She said her husband ended up on a ventilator with Covid and it was touch and go as to whether he was going to make it.

"My facility that I worked for for eight years at the time didn't really give a s**t," she said.

She said while her direct managers were great, there wasn't a lot of empathy from the higher management, especially while she was in danger of losing her husband.

"That's ultimately what kind of pushed me out," she said.

"I was, like, 'I'm gonna start focusing and giving more time to the people who I want to and that is my family'. I was a very dedicated, nurse and employee. I clocked into work, and my full focus was on my patients and what I needed to do while I was there.

"I was one of the nurses that just didn't take care of myself while I was nursing, so this allows me to take better care of myself for sure.

"I'm comfortable in our little life right now. We have an exceptional life."

She added: "I still don't see dollar signs when I'm doing my work though. I'm trying to find self-pleasure even with the partners that I choose."
