Back in 2021, Bulova reissued its iconic “Devil Diver” timepiece in all of its glory. Revisiting the model again, Bulova now imbues updated functionality to the reference in a new Oceanographer GMT collection.
The original Oceanographer watch earned its “Devil Diver” moniker as it featured “666 feet” as an inscription on the dial. Faithful to its original model, the new Oceanographer GMT watches also come with the same markings.
Arriving in a 41mm case size, the watches all live up to their name with 666 feet (200 meters) of water resistance. Like all diver watches, its indices and handset are lume-filled to ensure legibility even in dark, underwater conditions. Designed with the modern traveler in mind, the Oceanographer GMT watches are all equipped with the Miyota 9075, a high-performance automatic movement that enables easy tracking for both local and foreign time.
Three variations are offered, comprising a “root beer” bezel and a rose-gold PVD version, a stainless-steel build one with a “Pepsi” bezel, and a blue dial. There’s also a “lume” edition that’s dressed in gunmetal IP plating, starring a white dial, and accompanied by a gray rubber strap.
Priced from $1,295 – $1,295 USD, the assortment of Oceanographer GMT watches is now available to shop via Bulova.
