Naga Munchetty is left in hysterics as she watches hilarious CCTV video of a man hit in the face by a pigeon
Naga Munchetty was left in hysterics during Friday’s BBC Breakfast as she watched a video of a man being hit in the face by a pigeon.
The journalist, 48, had tears streaming down her face as she watched the video and joked the makeup team would need to come in and sort her out.
Naga’s co-host Ben Thompson said: ‘I don’t know why this amuses me so much. Neither pigeon nor man were hurt.
‘This is Michael Spiers, from Nottingham. He described it as being whacked full pelt with a feathered pillow.’
Laughing, Naga said: ‘I’m sweating, I’m sorry. When you watch it and you know you’re not supposed to laugh and it makes you laugh even more. The pigeon is absolutely fine. It’s really good CCTV coverage.’

Ouch: The journalist, 48, had tears streaming down her face as she watched the video and joked the makeup team would need to come in and sort her out
‘It’s better than some of the filming we do,’ Ben joked.
‘I’m really hot,’ Naga said, still laughing. ‘We’re going to have to get makeup in to sort this out. The pigeon and the man are fine, by the way.’
It comes after Naga and Charlie Stayt were taken by surprise last month when a cheeky guest leaped on to their laps.
During the show Naga, and Charlie were joined by Vicky Etherington from Apollo’s Angels and a dog name Hugo.
But it seems as they sat down to discuss adopting pooches with Vicky, Hugo had other ideas.
While Naga gave him a stroke, he took the opportunity to leap over her knee and sit himself down in-between her and Charlie.
‘There you go, he’s going his own way!’ Charlie exclaimed.
‘This is Hugo, and he thinks he knows this is it,’ Naga said.

Charlie then joked: ‘I think he’s trying to work out which camera is which,’ as he pointed out which one to look at.
Viewers of the show were delighted at the sweet dog, with one posting: ‘Hugo squeezing himself between Naga and Charlie.’
Another added: ‘He took over sat in the middle wasn’t gonna stand for the side lol his so cute x’.
‘By the way Naga – watching the dog sitting between Charlie and yourself this morning was beyond cute!’ a third wrote.
One fan shared: ‘@TVNaga01 I’ve just seen Hugo the dog and it’s put a smile on my face. He clearly liked you & when he climbed over you to get to Charlie too, I ahhhhed & smiled even bigger.
‘He looked so comfortable sitting with both of you. Thanks to you all for aa great start of my day. Caz x’.
