Tony Blackburn has ruled out a duet with Cliff Richard as he confirmed he is a “solo artist”.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, today, a social media user tweeted: “Duet with Cliff?”
To the fan’s disappointment, the 80 year old replied: “Nice thought but I’m a solo artist.”
His comments come after he released his latest composition which he played on the piano via the micro-blogging site.
Tony captioned the post: “Hello music lovers, here is my latest composition which I hope you love. It’s called Dark Evenings which came to me when I looked out of the window and noticed it was dark. When I saw it was dark this beautiful song suddenly came to me. Enjoy.”
