A SAVVY shopper has revealed that she loves a bargain and was totally overjoyed when she spotted that Cadbury cake bars had been massively slashed.
Sia Marie Heptom was left beaming when shopping in her local Aldi, when she found that Cadbury cake bars had been reduced down to only 29p a pack – yes, you heard that correctly.
The chocolate fan managed to get her hands on Cadbury Fudge Cake bars that were slashed from £1.25 a pack to only 29p, as well as Cadbury white chocolate cake bars which were reduced from £1.25 to just 49p a pack.
Thrilled with her cheap finds, Sia took to social media to alert other shoppers.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Sia posted pictures of the discounted Aldi buys.
She also shared a picture of her epic haul, as she nabbed 12 Fudge cake bar packs and three packs of the white chocolate cake bars.

It’s no surprise that the Aldi shopper was beaming with the reductions, as she saved 96p per pack of fudge treats, and 76p on each pack of white chocolate goodies.
Thanks to her discount, Sia spent just £3.48 on the 12 packs of Fudge cake bars, and only £1.47 on the white chocolate treats.
In total, Sia’s haul should have cost £18.75, but thanks to the red stickers, the shopper spent a mere £4.95 on her whopping haul, saving herself a nice £13.80.
