<\/p>\nStrictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has become a grandmother for the first time. <\/p>\n
The TV favourite, 63, has one child Mark Ballas, who she shares with ex-husband Corky Ballas. Following in his mum\u2019s footsteps, Mark is also a professional dancer.<\/p>\n
The triple threat has been a regular on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars since 2007. On the show, he\u2019s been partnered with celebs like Melissa Joan Hart and Christina Milian.<\/p>\n

And on Tuesday (December 5) Mark confirmed that he has become a dad. Taking to his Instagram, he revealed that he and his wife BC Jean had welcomed a son, born in November.<\/p>\n

Alongside a picture of the tot\u2019s tiny hand, Mark wrote in the caption: \u201cBanksi Wylde Ballas Joined us earthside 11-5-23. Happy one month sweet boy You are so loved.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shirley shared her excitement at becoming a grandmother earlier this year. Speaking on BBC Breakfast she revealed she was \u201cto be a glam-ma for the first time\u201d. She said: \u201cMy son is in Los Angeles so where there\u2019s a will there\u2019s a way, as with my challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans were quick to send their congrats to Mark. Rushing to the comments section, one person said: \u201cCongratulations, so adorable.\u201d<\/p>\n
Someone else penned: \u201cCongrats I am so happy for you both.\u201d A third wrote: \u201cCongratulations!!!! Welcome baby Banksi.\u201d<\/p>\n
Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse also sent her well wishes. She gushed: \u201cCongratulations mom and dad. Wishing you all the best !!! @shirleyballas congratulations Shirley.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark is the first and only child of Corky and Shirley Ballas. The couple, who are both ballroom dancers, married in 1985 and welcomed Mark a year later in 1986. In 2007, Shirley and Corky were granted a divorce – leaving Mark with separated parents from the age of 21. <\/p>\n
Like Shirley, Corky is a retired competitive ballroom dancer who holds several Latin dance championship titles. Together, Corky and Shirley were undefeated United States International Latin Champions for seven years.<\/p>\n
Mark was born in Texas but as a child, moved to London where he attended the world-renowned Italia Conti Performing Arts School. At the school, Mark not only pursued his passion for dance but also developed an aptitude for music – which would eventually lead to his very own singing.<\/p>\n
