Kate&#8217;s hot!&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the after-show party, William, then 19, complimented Kate lavishly, and made a clumsy pass \u2013 either a kiss on the hand or &#8216;leaning in&#8217; for an amorous &#8216;smacker&#8217;, by conflicting accounts.<\/p>\n<p>Either way, the dress, designed by fashion student Charlotte Todd, is credited with kindling a Royal romance. Charlotte said: &#8216;I made it as a skirt, but others pulled it up on Kate and she wore it as a dress. Maybe if it hadn&#8217;t been see-through, William might not have noticed her.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/02\/19\/78507109-12818181-image-m-2_1701544579844.jpg\" height=\"1889\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Short in length, long on symbolism, it was the \u00a330 see-through dress that may have changed history. Its buyer, Nicky Roberts, a property developer, calls it &#8216;a symbol of hope and inspiration&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>But what became of the rest of the other models that night? Four years ago, she quit the corporate world to become a yoga instructor and Pilates teacher in Geneva, Switzerland.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now she hosts classes online via Zoom and tells pupils: &#8216;I believe yoga has the power to transform lives\u2026 Life is beautiful and we just need to stop once in a while to be present, be grateful for the simple things in life and feel reconnected to ourselves.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Colleagues describe her as sensitive and kind.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2002, her parents Terry and Else travelled from Geneva to Scotland for her catwalk debut.
