Cold weather payments have been triggered in over 285 postcodes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31571154.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_Woman-holding-cash-in-front-of-heating-radiator-Payment-for-heating-in-winter-Selective-focusjpgup.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The payment is made automatically, including to those who receive Universal Credit. Payments will appear in bank statements as your National Insurance number followed by &quot;DWP CWP&quot; for people in England and Wales.<\/p>\n<p>If you live in Northern Ireland, it will appear as &quot;SSA CWP&quot;.
