Green Day have scored their 8th No. 1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, with “The American Dream Is Killing Me” topping the tally.

“The American Dream Is Killing Me” rose from the 3rd spot to the No. 1 position on the chart dated November 25.

The track reigns in its fourth week on the list, making it the third song to reach No. 1 in four weeks or fewer in 2023 following Linkin Park‘s “Lost” in March and Foo Fighters‘ “Rescued” in May.

“The American Dream Is Killing Me” is the first No. 1 on Mainstream Rock Airplay for Green Day since “Oh Yeah!,” which reigned for two weeks in April 2020.
