<\/p>\nBBC star Anita Rani confessed she feels \u201csexier than ever\u201d as she embarks on a new chapter in her life following her split from tech boss Bhupi Rehal earlier this year after 14 years of marriage. <\/p>\n
The Countryfile presenter insisted there is \u201cno shame\u201d in being a mid-40s singleton \u201cliving her best life\u201d as she shared her relief at their separation finally being made public. The 46-year-old made sure to show her ex what he was missing last week when she attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. <\/p>\n
For the star-studded ceremony, the raven-haired beauty ditched her farmyard wellies and wax she regularly rocks for the BBC countryside show for something a little more elegant. The star strutted along the red carpet in a gorgeous black dress which featured a thigh-high split which she described as part of her \u201cliberation\u201d.<\/p>\n

She elevated with a pair of black high heels and accessorised the look with a simple black clutch bag. The broadcaster straightened her locks and added a full face of makeup that celebrated her youthful glow.<\/p>\n

Anita highlighted her golden skin with a touch of bronzer on the high points of her face and added a dramatic winged eyeliner to her lid. To complete the look, she added a swipe of deep red lipstick to make her pout pop.<\/p>\n
The star proudly declared: \u201cI\u2019m a woman who\u2019s worked her a**e off to become who she is, so I'll wear whatever the damn well I like, and I'm going to love it!\u201d More recently, the presenter turned heads yet again when she ditched her bra in a sizzling shoot for The Sun and described herself as feeling \u201csexier than ever.\u201d<\/p>\n
Anita, who famously made it to the Strictly Come Dancing finals in 2019, explained that she wants to let all women know she\u2019s \u201cnow on the other side\u201d and feels a sense of \u201cempowerment.\u201d She told Fabulous magazine: \u201cNot everything works out and things come to their natural conclusion, and that is absolutely fine. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m single, I'm child-free, I\u2019m in my mid-40s and I have never felt better, sexier, more powerful or more excited about the future. I\u2019m exercising my choice to do what the hell I want.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued: \u201cAnd that feels very empowering. I\u2019m stepping into chapter two. It means unapologetic. It means not being afraid to own my space.\u201d<\/p>\n
The BBC Radio 4 Woman\u2019s Hour presenter explained that she is happy being single at the moment and got through the difficult summer months with her friends\u2019 support. She went on: \u201cMy female friendships have been so important. I went to Glastonbury with Woman\u2019s Hour this summer at a very poignant moment in my life.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Anita and Bhupi\u2019s split back in September, a source told the Mirror: \u201cIt\u2019s really sad but they\u2019ve decided to separate. Their hectic schedules over the past couple of years have sadly meant they\u2019ve drifted apart over time.<\/p>\n
"They remain on very good terms and wish nothing but the best for one another," they added.<\/p>\n
