Big Bang Theory\u2019s Kaley Cuoco is stepping far outside of her typecast with her newest role in Prime Video\u2019s Role Play.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old plays suburban mother-of-two Emma who is keeping a murderous secret from her husband David, played by David Oyelowo, who is now spearheading the newest Yellowstone spin-off.<\/p>\n

In a first look at the upcoming action flick, the beloved Hollywood star is completely unrecognizable as a feisty assassin, swapping her iconic golden looks for a fresh copper hue and flaunting her jaw-dropping figure with a more mature elegance than when fans first encountered her as pretty Penny over a decade ago.<\/p>\n

From the looks of the trailer released on Wednesday, viewers should get used to the actress\u2019 shapeshifting abilities as her double-life as an assassin sees her dining a number of disguises.<\/p>\n

In the clip, Emma returns home to her husband and daughter asking about her trip to Nebraska, which she describes as \u201cthe usual\u201d while footage of her in disguise skillfully killing someone in the shadows.<\/p>\n

The trailer then switches to David in an interrogation room being questioned about \u201cwhat happened at the hotel\u201d.<\/p>\n

He explains that they were simply trying to spice up their romance by role-playing as strangers for the evening, with Emma sporting a red wig for the occasion but was recognized by one of her nefarious associates, played by Bill Nighy, who seemingly tries to murder her.<\/p>\n

An officer fills David in on the double life his wife has been leading, including her real name and the fact that\u2019s wanted on multiple continents for her assassin work.<\/p>\n

With a few more quick changes, Emma and David embark on a journey to protect their family and help her get a \u201cnormal life\u201d amid a growing collection of enemies.<\/p>\n
