however there are many aspects to consider before choosing when to go and where to stay.<\/p>\n<p>One of which being American holidays that wouldn&#8217;t usually cross our minds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A British woman planning a trip to Disney World Orlando has shared a full breakdown of the cost of her holiday, including why the dates she chose meant the prices were higher.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah from the Midlands, who goes by @unitedkingdomofdisney on TikTok, regularly shares tips and tricks to getting your perfect magical holiday for a cheap price.<\/p>\n<p>However, she recently slipped up by not realising she&#8217;d booked her trip during Thanksgiving week &#8211; how much did your Disney trip cost?<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I get asked this a lot and I see it being asked in groups on Facebook quite a lot, so I thought there&#8217;s no secrets here &#8211; let&#8217;s share.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I&#8217;m gonna break down what I&#8217;m spending on an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It is in 43 days, it is through the Thanksgiving period in the states which does play with the prices a little bit as it does get busier at Disney World and we are travelling from the UK.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Okay, so this for a trip for 10 nights, heading out towards the end of November, it is in Thanksgiving week, which I did not realise when I booked it &#8211; and it is staying at Pop Century which is an on-site value hotel.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Flights are direct and they are from London Heathrow, direct to Orlando and this price includes our park tickets.<\/p>\n<p>Adding &#8216;We have got the seven for fourteen day magic tickets for Disney World, this does not include any Universal tickets, Discovery Cove, nothing like that, we&#8217;re just doing Disney on this trip.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;So the grand total that we have paid for two adults because we don&#8217;t have any children, is \u00a34,062.70.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/03\/10\/77359609-12702013-image-a-73_1699008960132.jpg\" height=\"1085\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Sarah from the Midlands, who goes by @unitedkingdomofdisney on TikTok , regularly shares tips and tricks to getting your perfect magical holiday for a cheap price<\/p>\n<h3>READ MORE:\u00a0Disney raises the cost of some of its tickets by up to 10%\u00a0as it invests $60 BILLION into its theme parks &#8211; after firm already hiked streaming prices earlier this year<\/h3>\n<p>She advised &#8216;We did book during the dining and merch credit offer and because we&#8217;re staying at a value hotel, you get the lowest amount of that offer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;So we get a $200 Disney gift card and we also get $360 dining and merchandise credit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;You receive those as an e-voucher on arrival once you check into the hotel &#8211; you&#8217;ll get two emails with those vouchers in and I actually had these in June.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They were really handy because you can add them to Apple pay to pay using your phone in the parks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We use our vouchers for food and drinks mainly, we didn&#8217;t really spend it on any merch and that&#8217;s probably what we&#8217;re going to do on this trip in November too.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Moving on to the topic of spending money, the Disney fan explained &#8216; I see a lot of figures being thrown around that are like \u00a3100 per day per person or $200 a day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;In all honesty it&#8217;s really up to you and the kind of people you are. If you want to do a sit down meal every day, you&#8217;re gonna spend considerably more than if you&#8217;re people who want to get into those quick services and those booths at Epcot which I highly recommend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Our $560 credit that we receive as part of the detail will pay for at least a weeks worth of our food and drinks to be honest.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/03\/10\/77359169-12702013-image-a-61_1699008161850.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Moving on to the topic of spending money, the Disney fan explained &#8216; I see a lot of figures being thrown around that are like \u00a3100 per day per person or $200 a day<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We don&#8217;t eat a lot while we&#8217;re there, we don&#8217;t really have great appetites in the heat but we love trying different snacks, different quick service, the food booths at Epcot.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;So we&#8217;ll do that and then just top it up as we need to.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>In an attempt to make her feel better about the dates, one user commented &#8216;We stayed last year for Thanksgiving in Universal and loved every minute of it. Enjoy the magic at Disney.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Sarah questioned &#8216;How did you find the crowds?&#8217; to which the commenter replied &#8216;As soon as Thanksgiving weekend had finished absolutely amazing&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Another viewer wrote &#8216;We go 25th November and are staying at Pop aswell!!!&#8217; and the TikToker responded &#8216;Omg see you there!! You\u2019re smarter than me and have booked for the quiet bit after thanksgiving craziness though!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Someone else said &#8216;I find that is expensive&#8217; and Sarah replied &#8216;Prices have definitely gone up this year. We pay less in the first half of the year but wanted to do Christmas&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>It comes after\u00a0Walt Disney California\u00a0announced earlier this month that it&#8217;s hiking the price of some of its tickets by up to 10 percent as it prepares to invest $60 billion into its theme parks.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of visiting the Californian park on busy days such as holidays has shot up from $178 to $194 &#8211; a difference of 8.9 percent.<\/p>\n<h3>What are the new Disney prices?\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>Disneyland price per ticket on holidays &#8211; $194, up from $179. The same price also applies to tickets for the Disney California Adventure<\/p>\n<p><span>Disney World passholder tickets:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Top tier Incredi-Pass now costs $1,449, up $50 from $1,399<\/p>\n<p>The Disney Sorcerer Pass is now $999, up $30 from $969. It\u2019s solely available to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members<\/p>\n<p>The Disney Pirate Pass now costs $799 &#8211; a $50 increase from $749. It is only available to Florida residents<\/p>\n<p>The Disney Pixie Pass now costs $439 &#8211; up $40 from $399. It is also only available to Florida residents<\/p>\n<p><span>Disneyland Magic Key passholders:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The top-tier Inspire Key costs $1649 &#8211; $50 more than its previous price of $1,599<\/p>\n<p>The Believe Key costs $1,249 &#8211; a $150 increase from $1,099<\/p>\n<p>The Enchant Key now costs $849, up $150 from $699<\/p>\n<p>The Imagine Key now costs $499, up $50 from $449. It is only available to Southern California residents in specific zip codes<\/p>\n<p><span>Multi-day tickets:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Two-day tickets: $310, up $25<\/p>\n<p>Three-day tickets: $390, up $30<\/p>\n<p>Four-day tickets: $445, up $50<\/p>\n<p>Five-day tickets: $480, up $65<\/p>\n<p><span>Parking<\/span>:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Parking tickets have increased from $25 a day to $30.
