<\/p>\nA HEARTBROKEN woman has revealed why she\u2019s now reluctant to forgive her cheating boyfriend despite initially agreeing to go to couple\u2019s counseling sessions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She explained that they\u2019ve had their fair share of disagreements but have mostly gotten along well during their 18 months of dating.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
She penned a lengthy post on Reddit revealing that her boyfriend confessed to having cheated on her with his masseuse.<\/p>\n
Having had the most fun ever in a relationship with him and having nursed him back to health after surgery, the woman was devasted by his infidelity.<\/p>\n
She wrote: \u201cThis morning I woke to a text from him at 5 am asking me to call him as soon as possible. I did, very worried about what was going on with him.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe confessed that the pelvic infection I've been dealing with for more than two weeks – which he has known about from the start – is trich [Trichomoniasis] because he screwed his masseuse and tested positive himself.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cSaid he'd been up since 2 am which is when he saw his own lab results.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn the phone, he got all weepy. He says it's because he's sorry for hurting me.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI'm pretty sure it was really him feeling sorry for himself because he got busted for cheating.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am confident he wouldn't have told me about it if it hadn't been for the STD.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The woman vented her frustration and said she told her boyfriend at the start of their relationship that she wouldn\u2019t put up with cheating.<\/p>\n She said he has been sending text messages begging her for forgiveness and claiming no one has treated him as well as her.<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cHe asked me to do couples counseling with him, which I reluctantly agreed to at first, but subsequently changed my mind about.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cSays he has his own counseling appt on Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cI still stand by my one-and-done for infidelity, and he knows this.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cMy self-protection mode won't put me in the way of being hurt this profoundly again, and I'm confident that he'd cheat again in the future.<\/p>\n \u201cNot looking for advice, just moral support. I'm going to miss him immensely, but I don't see a way forward that doesn't involve ending the relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n Responses to the Reddit post advised the woman to get tested for other sexually transmitted infections that her boyfriend may have passed on to her.\u00a0<\/p>\n Commenters agreed she was right not to go ahead with the couple\u2019s counseling.<\/p>\n They reassured her that she should end the relationship and told her to cut all contact with her boyfriend.\u00a0<\/p>\n One person wrote: \u201cHe didn't just trip and fall into her vagina – he deliberately chose to betray you and then slapped you with an STD as a s****y parting gift.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHe's not crying because he hurt you, he's crying because his dumba** got caught.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cStick to your guns, ditch the b*****d, and never settle for anyone who thinks so little of you that they'd risk your health for a quick f**k.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cYou're better than this, and you f***ing know it.\u201d<\/p>\n Another commented: \u201cDon\u2019t get sucked into couple\u2019s counseling. There\u2019s nothing to discuss. You\u2019ve done nothing wrong.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cGiving him another chance would tell him that your boundaries can be changed once he has broken them. It sucks but walking away is the right call.\u201d<\/p>\n A third chimed in: \u201cGood on you for putting your values first. It doesn't matter how good you guys had it before.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHe isn't compatible with your morals. You deserve better. You deserve a relationship that isn't built on lies. You deserve inner peace.\u201d<\/p>\n A fourth added: \u201cCut all contact now.
