A BABY has died after "taking unwell" at a popular Scots caravan park.<\/p>\n
Mercy crews raced to Craig Tara Holiday Park, near Ayr, in the early hours of yesterday morning.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The one-year-old tot was taken to hospital but tragically died a short time later.<\/p>\n
An eyewitness at the holiday park said: "The police have been there since before 8am. <\/p>\n
"A forensic team has been inside a caravan for some time now and are combing the scene."<\/p>\n
Cops are treating the death as unexplained as they launched a probe into the tragic death.<\/p>\n
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cPolice received a report of a one-year-old baby girl having taken unwell at an address in the Dunure Road area of Ayr around 5.50am on Saturday, 21 October, 2023.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe baby was taken to University Hospital Ayr where she died a short time later.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Scottish Sun approached Haven for comment. <\/p>\n
