A woman confessed to spending 15 years making a man's life miserable after he spat on her friend.

Linda Solley Hurd, from Dallas, Texas, claims she was at a comedy show with some friends when one of her friends bumped into the bloke and accidentally knocked his drink over him. She claims her pal was apologising to him but he refused to listen.

Instead, he screamed at her calling her a "stupid fat b***h" and spat in her face. Linda defended her friend but was hit with abuse too – at which point she decided to make his life a living hell.

Now, the woman left social media users stunned when she shared the the shocking story of how she dedicated years into making the bloke pay for his actions. The influencer claims she would do petty things like spoil his favourite TV shows to convincing his fiancee to leave him.

Linda told her followers: "Years ago, when I was in college, I went to a comedy show with a couple of friends, and my friend, when she stood up at the end of it, accidentally knocked her chair into the guy behind her and spilled his drink all over him.

"And he stands up and calls her a stupid fat b***h, which is categorically not true. And he was not hearing her apology. And then he spits on her. So she rushes to the bathroom and she's cleaning herself up. Meanwhile, I'm screaming in this guy's face. I'm like, that's assault! You're disgusting, you're trash! Whatever. And he calls me an ugly b***h."

Linda added: "And so we move on with our night. Do not move on with our lives." She later found him on Facebook and discovered he was a fan of the TV shows Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. She even changed her surname to a random one she found on Google, saying it saved her from a lot of embarrassment.

"This was back when the shows were airing so you get one a week, and you would do anything to avoid a spoiler," she added. "So I go search for all the spoilers. I get on Reddit, I get on all the forums, everything and I find spoilers for all the upcoming episodes."

Armed with this knowledge, she created multiple fake accounts and started sending him spoilers every week. In response, the bloke "would make these rage-filled Facebook statuses and tweets like who is sending me this? And block. And I just pop back up and send him another one. It was so much fun. So I do that for a couple of months."

However, she was shocked when he showed up in her class the next semester. She added: "It's political science and he is devil's advocate for everything. Every trash opinion you could have, he has it. So I'm like, oh, why did I quit spoiling things for this guy? I really hate him."

Linda, who had a grudge against a classmate, found his Reddit username when he left his laptop open. She said: "He's firing up his PowerPoint to the projector for a class project and I see in his tab, right before it fires up a little username… That is Reddit. So I start seeing his interest there and spoiling things on Facebook again for him."

Years later, Linda discovered this man was engaged to a friend of a friend. She decided to check his Reddit account again and was shocked by what she found. "I was like, I haven't thought about this guy in so long," Linda confessed.

"So I look up his Reddit to see if he's still using it. And Reddit has gotten so much bigger by this point there. You know, Reddit, there's everything. But I see some pretty sinister stuff on his Reddit, and there are pictures that he is passing off as her and things like that."

Feeling disturbed by what she saw, Linda felt she had to inform his fiancee. She explained: "If it was your partner, you would wanna know. So I jumped on one of those old Facebook accounts and sent her the username with a message, like, 'Hey, you should check this out'."

After sending, Linda discovered that man's fiancee broke off the engagement. She added: "Last time I checked, I saw her, she's got beautiful children and a thriving business and seems to have a happy marriage, at least on social media. And she's gorgeous. I don't know what the hell he's doing."

Linda ended with the moral to her incredible story: "You shouldn't assault women and call them b******."
