A NATURAL infinity pool in the UK is causing a stir online thanks to its amazing views.

While infinity pools are commonly associated with luxury holiday destinations like Bali and the Maldives, there are also some in the UK that are free to visit.

The Lake District is home to some stunning places, including plenty of wild swimming spots.

While they're all equipped with amazing views, there's one natural infinity pool that has remained a hidden gem in the tourist hotspot.

Earlier this year, the TikTok account UK Hidden Gems posted a video all about the Thirlmere Infinity Pool.

In the video, he said: "You need to visit this infinity pool in the UK. Sitting in the midst of a tiered waterfall is Thirlmere Infinity Pool.

"A real hidden gem in the beautiful Lake District.

"It's located just a 10-minute drive south of the town of Keswick off the main A591 in the lake district.

"You'll have the whole place to yourself."

In the 20-second clip, users saw a woman swimming in an infinity pool overlooking breathtaking views of the Lake District.

The video has had 33,000 views, with users jumping into the comments to share their opinions.

One person wrote: "We went and we were the only ones there – it was beautiful."

Another person added: "It’s really hard to find but amazing."

But some weren't impressed with the post, one person added: "It's nice to see these videos, but broadcasting them will stop them being so hidden."

Brits who want to visit the natural infinity pool will need to park at Legburthwaite car park.

From the car park, holidaymakers will need to follow the sign for Sticks Pass, before heading diagonally up a footpath until the route levels off at the corner of the wall.

Visitors will then need to follow the path for about 700m, before arriving at a gate and a bridge where the infinity pool should be.

Once in the infinity pool, visitors will be able to take in the views overlooking the Lake District.

There are also other infinity pools in the UK too, including a secret spot in Snowdonia in Wales.

The pool is actually a weir that was constructed by Farmer Wyn Mostyn Jones as part of a green energy project.

He has since passed away, but before then, said he didn't mind people visiting the pool, as long as they stayed safe when doing so.

But the location of the pool isn't completely clear, with some of its visitors hoping to keep it a secret from others.

Meanwhile, these are 14 places to swim outside in the UK this summer.

Other lidos and outdoor pools can be found across the country, some of which will be quieter than others.
