Covid cases are creeping up, with two variants, known as Eris and Pirola, driving up the numbers around the country.<\/p>\n

While jabs against the virus can significantly blunt the impact Covid has on your body, they are no silver bullet.<\/p>\n

In fact, you can still catch Covid post-vaccination but your chances of severe illness are much lower.<\/p>\n

According to Dr Johannes Uys, GP from Broadgate General Practice, this is also reflected by symptom severity.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the London-based GP explained what Covid symptoms can strike in fully vaccinated patients.<\/p>\n

He told Express.co.uk: \u201cThose who have been vaccinated tend to have milder symptoms if infected.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are often less flu-like and more akin to the common cold.\u201d<\/p>\n
