There has been too much violence and brutality, the escalation in recent weeks has been unbearable to witness,&#8217; began the Egyptian&#8217;s powerful message.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;All lives are sacred and must be protected. The massacres need to stop, families are being torn apart.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;What&#8217;s clear now is that humanitarian aid to Gaza must be allowed immediately. The people there are in terrible conditions. The scenes at the hospital last night were horrifying.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The people of Gaza need food, water and medical supplies urgently. I am calling on world leaders to come together and prevent the slaughter of innocent souls.\u00a0 Humanity must prevail.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Humanitarian aid is currently blocked from entering Gaza &#8211; as its residents are blocked from escaping &#8211; at the Israeli and Egyptian borders, limiting the ability of aid organisations to bring relief following a fortnight under siege for its residents.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Salah becomes the most high-profile Premier League footballer to speak out about the ongoing conflict.
