A MUM and her daughter were rushed to hospital after being savaged by an out-of-control XL Bully.<\/p>\n

The horror<\/span> unfolded at a home in Baddeley Green, Staffordshire, at around 11:40am yesterday.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Both the mum and daughter were taken to to the Royal Stoke University Hospital but there is no update on their condition.<\/p>\n

Staffordshire Police confirmed they have ordered the dog to be destroyed.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson said: "We were called to Baker Crescent following reports of a dog attack. The dog – believed at this time to be an XL Bully – attacked two women inside the address.<\/p>\n

"They were taken to hospital by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service. Officers contained the dog at the scene."<\/p>\n

The\u00a0horror\u00a0is the latest in a\u00a0spate of dog attacks\u00a0across the UK.<\/p>\n

It also comes amid a growing public debate after\u00a0Rishi Sunak\u00a0vowed to ban\u00a0American bully XL\u00a0dogs.<\/p>\n

The PM said the breed will be\u00a0outlawed under the Dangerous Dogs Act\u00a0following a spate of terrifying attacks.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information on the latest attack can call police on 101 quoting incident number 215 of 12 October.<\/p>\n
