<\/p>\nTAKE a look inside the personal life of Channel 4 star Kevin McCloud.<\/p>\n
The 64-year-old fan-favourite designer, TV presenter and father-of-four has reportedly been married twice \u2014 although his second marriage is something of a secret.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
Kevin became a household name after he began hosting Grand Designs in the 1990s. The Channel 4 home renovation and design show has remained a constant on TV for almost a quarter of a century.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He recently told Metro.co.uk that he\u2019s \u201camazed\u201d that the show is still going.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen we did the first series, the producer John Silver, and I looked at each other and wondered if we would get recommissioned and if we did, where would we find the projects because we thought surely we covered everything\u2026 after six episodes,\u201d Kevin continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cNow, we have a policy of not repeating ourselves, which makes it a bit harder to find the projects, but they roll in and it\u2019s great because we can pick stuff that we like and that is still exemplary,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But, while Kevin\u2019s career has remained smooth sailing, with a new season of Grand Designs currently airing, his love life has been full of ups and downs.<\/p>\n The TV star has four children, reportedly from three different relationships, has endured a public marriage breakdown, and secretly tied the knot again.\u00a0<\/p>\n While some of this has been reported in the media, Kevin isn\u2019t keen to divulge too much of his personal life in interviews or on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThe more of your private life you put into the public domain, the smaller your private life becomes,\u201d he told the Daily Mail in 2010, before adding: \u201cIt\u2019s important to maintain a bit of mystique.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Kevin has certainly done that over the years, but there\u2019s still plenty to know about his complex love life.\u00a0<\/p>\n Kevin\u2019s first wife and the mother of two of his children is Suzanna McCloud, who is more commonly known as Zani.\u00a0<\/p>\n Zani is an interior designer who McCloud met before his Channel 4 fame. They married in 1996.<\/p>\n The former couple share two grown-up children together; Milo and Elsie. They shared a 500-year-old farmhouse near Bruton in Somerset, where they raised their children.\u00a0<\/p>\n From the outside, it looked like the picture perfect life, but that image came crashing down when Kevin announced their separation in December 2019 after being married for 23 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Kevin said: \u201cI can confirm that, sadly, Kevin and Suzanna separated. We won\u2019t be making any further comment.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the Daily Mail, Kevin took his belongings and walked out of their family home, leaving Suzanna heart broken.<\/p>\n One of Suzanna\u2019s friends told the publication: \u201cZani is absolutely devastated. She came back home one day to find that Kevin had taken his things and left.\u201d<\/p>\n Kevin had previously admitted he was very difficult to live with, saying he was \u201cterribly fastidious\u201d and that he liked \u201csymmetry and neatness, but my house is as chaotic as any other family\u2019s\u201d.<\/p>\n Five years after his separation from Zani, Kevin remarried. The Daily Mail reported he tied the knot with business woman Jenny Jones in a secret wedding ceremony in the Autumn of 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n They went public with their relationship a year earlier after a spokesperson for Kevin confirmed his divorce was official. <\/p>\n One of Kevin\u2018s pals confirmed the secret wedding and in November revealed: \u201cThey\u2019re just back from [their] honeymoon.\u201d<\/p>\n Little is known about Kevin\u2019s new bride, as the couple is notoriously private. She is believed to be a British businesswoman, though it\u2019s not clear what business or industry she is involved in.\u00a0<\/p>\n Kevin McCloud has four children, all of who are now grown up. He shares son Milo and daughter Elsie with his ex-wife Zani, while he has another son and daughter, Hugo and Grace, who are from two previous relationships.\u00a0<\/p>\n Kevin has revealed very little information about his kids publicly, but Hello reported that Milo was born in 1997.
