A CAR owner has revealed how a Martin Lewis tip helped her slash an essential bill by \u00a3270. <\/p>\n

The driver, only named as Ruth, said she cut her car insurance bill using one of the money-saving expert's hacks. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Martin had urged Brits to check whether they could lock into their insurance bills for a year. <\/p>\n

He said this was a way of avoiding sudden, unexpected price hikes and save them \u00a3100s.<\/p>\n

The expert had warned that prices could be going up a whopping 41% and told Brits to try an online comparing tool to see if they could save some cash. <\/p>\n

Ruth said she'd seen her car insurance was going up by around \u00a3200, so she checked out Martin's advice. <\/p>\n

Another driver previously told Martin they'd saved more than \u00a3700 using the same tool. <\/p>\n
