TWO tourists burnt to death after a Ferrari and a Lamborghini smashed into a camper van during a supercar tour.<\/p>\n

The two powerful motors both tried to overtake at the same time before crashing into the van, causing it to flip over in a country road in Sardinia, Italy.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

A pair of Swiss tourists who were in the Ferrari were killed as the wreckage burst into flames.<\/p>\n

Melissa Krautli, 63, and Markus Krautli, 67, were named as the unfortunate victims.<\/p>\n

Video from a driver behind the tragic incident on October 2, shows the full crash as it happens.<\/p>\n

In the minute long clip, a blue Lamborghini tries to overtake a big white camper van by going into the opposite lane.<\/p>\n

A red Ferrari then speeds alongside the moving Lambo and the pair touch, sending them flying towards the camper van and leaving all three in opposite directions.<\/p>\n

The Ferrari is behind the tipped van and can\u2019t be seen in the video, but according to local media it caught fire, trapping the poor couple inside as they burnt to death.<\/p>\n

As the cars collide the woman in the video can be heard screaming before the daunting sound of the nasty impact can be heard.<\/p>\n

The Lamborghini ends up down a ditch but the pair inside can be seen moving at the end of the footage telling the cars around them they are okay.<\/p>\n

A couple from Selva di Val Gardena, aged 61 and 62, who were in the van were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries alongside the Lamborghini pair.<\/p>\n

The remains of the three vehicles have been taken in by local authorities as they continue to investigate the incident.<\/p>\n

It happened on a Sardinian road in Italy during the Sardinia Supercar Tour, where luxury cars drive from Teulada to Olbia and show off the expensive beauties.<\/p>\n

Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera reported that the couple were leaving Forte Village and heading towards Mores.<\/p>\n

A supercar worth up to \u00a3600,000 crashed outside The Beverly Hills Hotel earlier this year causing it\u2019s bonnet to flip off.<\/p>\n

The crash went viral as the car had striking similarities to the Monopoly car with it being chrome and shaped near identically.<\/p>\n

Flashy sports cars including a Mercedes-Benz and an Aston Martin were ruined after a car transporter flipped on the road earlier this year in a very expensive accident.<\/p>\n
