<\/p>\nGOOD Morning Britain fans were stunned as Ben Shephard nearly lost his rag with guest Michelle Dewberry in a heated row.<\/p>\n
TV host Michelle joined co-presenters Ben and Kate Garraway on the ITV show on Friday morning.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
They were discussing the Ofcom investigation after journalist Dan Wootton was suspended from GB News after Laurence Fox launched a vile tirade against female journalist Ava Evans on his show.<\/p>\n
Fox was also suspended and revealed on social media he expects to be sacked today for his outburst.<\/p>\n
Grilled by Ben, Michelle said: "It was sexist, it was misogynistic, it was embarrassing – I knew the next<\/span> day there would be this monumental backlash and rightly so.<\/p>\n "I don't think that is representative of the channel and very swift action has been taken."<\/p>\n Ben then asked if the Michelle if she had contacted GB bosses to get reassurance that Laurence would not be returning to the channel.<\/p>\n Michelle hit back and said: "I haven't contacted bosses and tried to influence the outcome of an investigation, I wouldn't do that under any circumstances.<\/p>\n "I don't need to seek their reassurances because I already know that this is not the sort of thing that the channel is about.<\/p>\n "I know, I have worked there since the day it first broadcast, I don't need to go to management to get reassurance."<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Michelle said she would not jump on the "bandwagon". <\/p>\n Ben fired back at the GB star saying the host "did absolutely nothing to stop those comments".<\/p>\n Michelle admitted: "We all agree it was wrong, it was appalling, You're preaching to the converted, I had my head in my hands.<\/p>\n "We don't tolerate that, that is not what this channel is."<\/p>\n Ben was quick to cut Michelle off as he wrapped up the interview before going to a break. <\/p>\n Some fans were quick to pick up on the tension between Ben and Michelle as they had their back and forth exchange.<\/p>\n One wrote: "Did Ben just tell Michelle Dewberry to f*** off?"<\/p>\n Another said: "Credit to Ben for staying composed and calling out Michelle."<\/p>\nREAD MORE ON GMB <\/h2>\n
