    Coronation Street fans branded Courtney Vance a "liar" after she briefly opened up to boyfriend Aadi about her childhood. <\/p>\n

    During Tuesday's episode (September 26) of the ITV soap, Courtney (Stephanie Davis) and Aadi (Adam Hussain) were on the hunt for a new place as things were becoming crowded at home.<\/p>\n

    When Asha (Tanisha Gorey) questioned why the couple couldn't move in with Courtney's parents, she revealed that she was raised by her grandparents.<\/p>\n

    Courtney went on to confess to her boyfriend's family that her parents died when she was only two, but fans weren't so convinced.<\/p>\n

    Sharing their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers speculated that Courtney could be related to Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), who was recently revealed to be the mother of Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall). One penned: "Oh, Cassie is so Courtney's mum. All this talk about her family…"<\/p>\n

    Another echoed: "Is Courtney another of Cassie's abandoned kids?" While others believed Courtney was lying about her past in a bid to get her hands on some cash, with one writing: "Courtney could be lying about that I wonder if we'll see her parents at some point? I don't think they are really dead?"<\/p>\n

    Another wrote: "Courtney: "My parents died. Car crash. Yep they'll believe that." #Corrie." A third person added: "Don\u2019t believe Courtney\u2019s story! Bet she\u2019s secretly loaded. While a fourth echoed: "Reckon Courtney's lying."<\/p>\n

    Elsewhere in the episode, fans went wild as Hollyoaks legend Nicole-Barber Lane made her debut as Ange. The actress, 53, is best known for playing Myra McQueen from 2006 to 2019 on the Channel 4 soap.<\/p>\n
