<\/p>\nRIVER Island is one of our favourite high street retailers, and now even more so thanks to Louise Roe's new edit.<\/p>\n
The fashion guru, journalist and broadcaster – who some remember from The City alongside Whitney Port – has joined forces with River Island to launch the first of her three fashion collections.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Louise Roe's River Island edit spans across 32 pieces, which range in price from \u00a39 to \u00a375, all of which are available both online and in-store.<\/p>\n
Among the 32-piece collection, one favourite of ours, as well as Louise's, is the Brown Faux Leather Oversized Biker Jacket, which also comes in a black colourway. <\/p>\n
Speaking about the range, Louise said: "I\u2019m thrilled to reveal my autumnal edit – what a lot of fun it was curating and styling so many looks for the new season. <\/p>\n

From date night at home to a Saturday evening out with the girls, casual mornings to slick workwear, I\u2019ve got an outfit covered for every occasion. <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n A leather jacket is a firm favourite of ours, and frankly, a wardrobe essential. <\/p>\n The Brown Leather Jacket has a slightly oversized and boxy fit, which is perfect over dresses, jeans and a t-shirt, as well as knitwear, and much more. <\/p>\n The Brown Leather Jacket features a zip front fastening, as well as slight zip detail on the cuffs for a loose fit. <\/p>\n It also features side pocket detail, but we love best of all the subtle contrasting hem in a soft tan to contrast the deeper brown of the body of the jacket, which creates a vintage-like aesthetic – making it look far more expensive than it actually is. <\/p>\n The leather jacket comes in UK dress sizes six to 18, and retails for \u00a375, which we think is a well-worthy investment you can rely on for many years to come. <\/p>\n Not for you? We've spotted plenty of must haves in Louise's River Island edit, including the Black Block Heeled Court Shoes, which are giving us major Gucci vibes, as well as the Red Boucle Trophy Blazer.<\/p>\n The collection does not stop here, as Louise Roe will collaborate with River Island on another two edits, which are set to drop in October and November this year.<\/p>\n If this first drop is anything to go by, we think the upcoming ranges will be equally as impressive. <\/p>\n Here's what we're loving.<\/p>\n We love a co-ord, especially when it comes in a suit form. Some will wear the full co-ord with heels, or boots, maybe even trainers, though others may prefer to style the blazer, or jacket, separately. <\/p>\n The Wide Leg Trousers are a personal favourite as they are super chic, and perfect for all occasions, both formal and informal dos, from the office to wedding guest outfits.<\/p>\n A great pair of jeans is a wardrobe essential, whether you are dressing up or down, going shopping, for brunch, or to the office. <\/p>\n From the high-waisted detail to the straight-leg design, these jeans are the perfect fit for those wanting a flattering pair of denim. <\/p>\n These jeans can be worn casually with a classic white t-shirt, with boots and a jumper, or heels and a smart blouse, but we know they are a must-have you can't live without. <\/p>\n Bomber jackets are doing the rounds, and are back bigger and better than ever. <\/p>\n Zara's iconic cropped bomber has been a huge hit this year, and now River Island's release is a very similar alternative. <\/p>\n We love the muted colourway, though it also comes in black.<\/p>\n Pair with jeans, trousers, combats, skirts, whether you are dressing for the day or night.<\/p>\n Every autumn and winter without fail we live in leather trousers, even in the spring, both day and night. <\/p>\n You can style the straight-leg trousers with trainers and a sweatshirt for a casual look, or with a glitzy top and heels for an evening. <\/p>\n The Leather Trousers are high-waisted, with both a zip and button front fastening, while the straight leg skim straight down the legs, which works to elongate your limbs. <\/p>\n The Block Heeled Court Shoes are a ringer for Gucci loafers and we are obsessed with them. <\/p>\n They come in a fabric brown hue, as well as the patent black, and we want them in both colourways. <\/p>\n You can jazz up a classic look with jeans and a top, layered with a blazer or biker jacket, with a skirt, or dress, the styling options are endless. <\/p>\n We may not have the boldest wardrobe, but having a select few staple pieces to inject some colour into your wardrobe is a safe way to go, and the Red Boucle Trophy Blazer is the solution. <\/p>\n The oversized shoulder detail is giving major seventies vibes, while the long sleeves, and slightly fitted style of the jacket, which falls just on the hips, make this a super chic design. <\/p>\n The bold red hue, the texture, and the button front add the je ne sais quoi we need. <\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/KS_COMP_JEANS.jpg\")
