Russell Brand told Jimmy Savile that he would bring his female personal assistant to meet him, agreeing for her to be naked and to give him a massage.<\/p>\n

On Saturday (September 16), the comedian, 48, was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse of four women, one of which was 16-years-old at the time.<\/p>\n

The allegations \u2013 which Brand strongly denies \u2013 have come from a joint investigation by The Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4 Dispatches and reportedly took place between 2006 and 2013. <\/p>\n

The publication has also claimed that there were reported incidents during the early years of his TV career.<\/p>\n

Channel 4 runners and TV researchers also alleged that Brand would get staff to find female audience members that he could meet after filming.<\/p>\n

The claims<\/span> made by the publication included a recording of a live telephone call with the late, disgraced presenter Jimmy, who molested at least 72 children, some as young as eight, across a period of six decades.<\/p>\n

In the call, which was broadcast on Brand's Radio 2 show in 2007, Brand asked Savile if he would meet him, with the Jim'll Fix It host replying: "If you have got a sister you could meet me by bringing her along. I don't usually meet fellas but if you have got a sister then that's okay."<\/p>\n

To which Brand responded: "Well I haven't got a sister but I have got a personal assistant and part of her job description is that anyone I demand she greet, meet, massages, she has to do it.<\/p>\n

"She's very attractive, Jimmy. Would you like her to wear anything in particular Jimmy?"<\/p>\n

When Savile said that he would "prefer her to wear nothing", Brand continued: "Right so you want my assistant to meet you, naked? Okay well that's not going to be a problem."<\/p>\n

At that point, details of Savile's horrific abuse had not been brought to light.<\/p>\n

He died in 2011 at the age of 84, having never been brought to justice for his campaign of abuse.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brand released a video statement on Friday (September 16) denying all of the allegations against him, saying his relationships were "absolutely, always consensual".<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: "<\/span>Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.<\/p>\n

"These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies, and as I've written about extensively in my books I was very, very promiscuous.<\/p>\n

"Now during that time of promiscuity the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual."<\/p>\n
