Strictly Come Dancing fans have praised Tess Daly for her youthful look after she stunned in a sparkly jumpsuit for the launch show.

The 54 year old looked incredible as she hosted the BBC show alongside Claudia Winkleman, with the pair announcing the pairings for the 2023 series of the show.

For the special occasion, Tess wore the gold halter neck jumpsuit, which flattered her stunning figure. She had her long blonde hair in her usual straight style, and the outfit was finished off with a simple but effective make-up look.

As for Claudia, 51, she also went for a sequin-based outfit for the launch show as she wore a black velvet number.

She had her long black hair down with her iconic fridge, and she opted for a black smoky eye makeup look.

When viewers of the show spotted the hosts for the first time, they were full of praise for how well they both looked and soon flocked to social media to share that.

One person wrote: "Tess is literally 54 years old but looks better than me and I'm 22. How does she do it!!!! She is stunning."

While another added: "TESSSSS is such a fine woman. Love love love her outfit for the first show."

This viewer penned: "Wow!!! Tess never misses. She looks amazing in that gold dress."

"Tess and Claudia always look so good. Wish I had their hair and makeup team on hand for when I want to head out, lol," gushed one fan.

The programme, which aired on Saturday, 16 September, gave the viewers at home the chance to see the celebrities who have signed up for the series on the dance floor for the first time.

However, that was not the only thing that impressed the viewers at home, as there were a couple of touching moments throughout, as the show paid tribute to the late Len Goodman, as well as wishing professional dancer Amy Dowden well in her cancer battle.

As Tess and Claudia sat on the sofa, they said: "We are of course missing one professional dancer, our gorgeous Amy is unwell and can't be with us for the start of the series. She is our Welsh dragon, and we know she will be back soon.

"Amy, from our entire Strictly family, we are sending all our love, and we can’t wait to have you back on the dance floor."

As for the tribute to former judge Len, the show played a clip which included the four judges, the hosts and a number of the pros, who looked back on Len's life and how he impacted them.
