He was born on November 1, 1990, and had two world records to his name by the age of 25.<\/p>\n
His passion for adventure has led him to becoming the first person to complete an unsupported walk across Mongolia in 2014.<\/p>\n
His 2,400 km (1,500 mi) journey meant he covered the Altai Mountains and Gobi Desert.<\/p>\n

The trip took 78 days and he became known to locals as the "lonely snow leopard".<\/p>\n
In 2016, he became the first recorded person to cross the length of Madagascar.<\/p>\n

During the trip, Ash contracted the deadliest strain of malaria and was close to death.<\/p>\n
