As the sun shone bright this morning at the Australia Zoo, Bindi Irwin’s 2-year-old daughter Grace Warrior got to work. The toddler took the lead in a special job today, proving she’s already a mini wildlife conservationist!

“Morning checks of @australiazoo brought to you by Grace,” Irwin wrote on her Instagram Story today over the cutest photo of Grace checking on animals at the zoo. The toddler, who Irwin shares with husband Chandler Powell, is wearing a blue-and-white floral shirt with khaki pants, and her long brown hair is half up in a ponytail. She’s looking at an animal that’s hanging out on a sign for Aldabra Giant Tortoises, making sure everything is under control.

Grace clearly gave the situation her seal of approval, because in the next photo, she’s moved on to check out another part of the zoo. In this shot, you can see that Grace is wearing pink tennis shoes and holding a little stuffed sheep as she walks on a path with more animals ahead of her. Her gait is determined as she leads her mom through the zoo like the adorable leader she is.

This isn’t the first time Grace has helped out at the zoo. Last month, she helped her mom update the zoo staff.

“Grace requested to come to our #AustraliaZoo staff meeting with us and gave a fabulous update on koalas. 🐨” Irwin wrote on Instagram. “She’s also been saying ‘thank you for your hard word’ to everyone since the meeting and it makes us laugh every time.” How sweet is that?

And being a leader also means staying late after everyone else has gone home. Last September, Irwin shared that her then-18-month-old daughter helped out on the maintenance crew.
