EX-WWE star Adnan Al-Kaissie has passed away aged 84. <\/p>\n
The professional wrestling<\/span> powerhouses announced the sad news<\/span> on their official Twitter page. <\/p>\n A statement read: "WWE<\/span> is saddened to learn that Adnan Al-Kaissie, known to sports-entertainment fans as Billy White Wolf, Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissy and General Adnan, passed away on Sept. 6 at 84. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n "WWE extends its condolences to Adnan Al-Kaissie\u2019s family<\/span>, friends and fans."<\/p>\n Already this year, Darren Drozdov, Mike 'Mantaur' Halac\u00a0and most recently Bray Wyatt have all passed.<\/p>\n And the heartbreak continued for fans following Al-Kaissie's death.<\/p>\n One said: "Not another one. My goodness." <\/p>\n Another added: "So much heartbreak this year." <\/p>\n One commented: "Damn. All these wrestlers are dropping like flies this year."<\/p>\n Another said: "Damn it\u2019s been a really depressing year for wrestling." <\/p>\n <\/picture>GRUDGE MATCH <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>GRAND ENTRANCE <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>‘GOAL REACHED’ <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/picture>PUNK OUT <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Al-Kaissie started his professional wrestling career in 1959 under the name Billy White Wolf, a Native American character.<\/p>\n He later made his name with New Japan<\/span> Pro-Wrestling in the 70s before joining the WWE in 1990.<\/p>\n Al-Kaissie was most commonly known as acting as Sgt. Slaughter's manager. <\/p>\n He competed at SummerSlam 1991 with Slaughter and Col. Mustafa in a Handicap match with Sid Justice as special guest referee against Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior. <\/p>\n Al-Kaissie also became the first Iraqi as well as Arab to compete in a WWE ring.<\/p>\n After retiring from wrestling, he managed his own company – the World All-Star Wrestling Alliance – which he co-owned with Ken Patera.<\/p>\n In 2005, his memoir "The Sheik of Baghdad: Tales of Celebrity<\/span> and Terror from Pro Wrestling's General Adnan" was published. <\/p>\n<\/p>\nMost read in WWE<\/h2>\n
