Top Boy is returning for one last series but what was the reason behind Sully killing Jamie in the season two finale?<\/p>\n
Sully (played by Kane \u201cKano\u201d Robinson) stunned Netflix subscribers when he showed up at Jamie\u2019s (Micheal Ward) front door and shot him twice in the chest and once in the head.<\/p>\n
Jamie\u2019s brothers Aaron (Hope Ikpoku Jnr) and Stef (Araloyin Oshunremi) couldn\u2019t believe their eyes as Sully walked away, leaving the youngsters devastated, just as they thought their lives were taking a turn for the better.<\/p>\n
Prior to pulling the trigger, Sully didn\u2019t say a word, giving no explanation to Jamie as to why he wanted to see him dead.<\/p>\n
But this explosive moment had been building up, not only throughout the latest episodes but in prior seasons as well.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Throughout the season, Dushane made it clear that working with Jamie was part of his and Sully\u2019s \u201cretirement plan\u201d but the latter didn\u2019t agree with this.<\/p>\n He also grew weary of Jamie after meeting him in Morocco where drug lord Juan said that Dushane\u2019s prodigy had spoken of his \u201cown big plans\u201d.<\/p>\n So he had suspected Jamie was playing the long game and may not have Dushane\u2019s best interests at heart, especially after ruthlessly killing his own best friend.<\/p>\n It had been teased that Sully wasn\u2019t on the same page as Dushane during their time in Morocco when Jamie said: \u201cDushane told me everything that happened in the past is done\u201d, to which Sully simply replied: \u201cDushane don\u2019t speak for me.\u201d<\/p>\n There may have been some other long-term factors that played a role in Jamie\u2019s death as well.<\/p>\n Sully was suffering from PTSD after the death of Jason (Ricky Smarts) in the season one house fire that he wasn\u2019t able to save him from.<\/p>\n He must also still feel guilty over murdering his once close friend Dris as well, despite his initial betrayal.<\/p>\n So while Sully did want to see Jamie gone for good, there may have been other factors at play that led him to pull the trigger.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/20\/590x\/secondary\/Top-Boy-Why-sully-kill-jamie-netflix-4942076.jpg?r=1693822204537\")
