The picture shows a younger Douglas 24 years ago with long, light brown curly hair.<\/p>\n
The Shetland star, who donned a beard, is wearing a sage green jumper on top of a baby blue shirt.<\/p>\n
The actor put his hand behind his head as he posed for the camera shot.<\/p>\n
At the time the photo was taken,Douglas would have been starring in Psychos, This Year’s Love and Kid in the Corner.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Soon after leaving the Scottish cop drama, Douglas landed a role in Who is Erin Carter?<\/p>\n However, his character couldn’t be more different from Detective Perez as Douglas got to play villain Daniel Lang.<\/p>\n When he landed the part, the actor admitted to having some concerns about his new project.<\/p>\n He shared with Radio Times: “With my Scottish complexion, I was afraid I was just going to disappear into a puddle on the floor.”<\/p>\n The actor confessed playing the baddie in a show is fun as he added: \u201cIt\u2019s always fun to pretend to be firing a gun. It\u2019s quite childhood-inducing.\u201d<\/p>\n After creating a huge fanbase from Shetland, Douglas admitted because of his age there weren’t many roles for him anymore.<\/p>\n “People are looking for younger actors these days,” he pointed out.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a degree of, \u2018I\u2019ve been offered that, I\u2019m grateful for the job, I\u2019ll go and do it.\u2019”<\/p>\n
