The cop was seen getting out of his truck with gun drawn as he arrested one of the activists.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A press release from the tribe&#8217;s chairman, James J. Phoenix, said the ranger&#8217;s actions were &#8216;under review.&#8217; When questioned by the Associated Press on the nature of the review, Phoenix simply said: &#8216;Bottom line up front, we are on it.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The tribal police shut down a group of climate change activists who operate under the name the Seven Circles Alliance. The cop was seen getting out of his truck with gun drawn as he arrested one of the activists<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Seven Circles Alliance released a statement saying that a tribal ranger, who responded to a call for police, arrived on the scene, pointed a gun at the various protestors, and said, &#8216;I&#8217;m going to take you all out.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The excessive response is a snapshot of the institutional violence and police brutality that is being shown to anyone who is actively working to bring about systemic change within the United States, including the climate movement,&#8217; the statement continued.<\/p>\n<p>The group also alleged that a civilian had falsely reported to the rangers the protestors had a firearm.<\/p>\n<p>It is not clear whether conducting a review of an interaction like the one that occurred on Sunday is standard practice for the department. When reached for comment, the department did not clarify its position.<\/p>\n<p>In a five-and-a-half-minute video of the scene, posted to YouTube by FreedomNews TV, a ranger was shown pulling up to the protest, driving straight through the blockade and confronting the activists.<\/p>\n<p>One female activist on the sidelines quickly devolved into hysterics and began screaming: &#8216;We&#8217;re not the problem. We&#8217;re non-violent. We have no weapons at all.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>As she yelled, the rangers arrested an activist in the middle of the road.<\/p>\n<p>The eco-zealots shrieked in horror and some sobbed as their compatriots were hauled away.<\/p>\n<p>Footage from before the rangers arrives, showed a clearly frustrated man telling activists that they were on &#8216;public property&#8217; and had to &#8216;move the f***ing mess&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>In response, the activists told him to call the authorities if he wanted them to move. I want to go to work!&#8217; one driver shouted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Get the f**k out of here! We have to go to f**king work! We\u2019ve got kids to feed,&#8217; shouted another.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers who attempted to calmly reason with the demonstrators were told that extreme measures needed to be taken to save the planet.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, police arrived and arrested all of the activists, using tip-tie handcuffs on the crowd, several of whom appeared to be elderly.<\/p>\n<p>The group&#8217;s objective is to continue &#8216;disrupting the status quo&#8217;
