Stephanie Beacham makes her epic Coronation Street return as Ken Barlow's (William Roache) ex Martha Fraser in upcoming scenes.
Brian and Mary attend rehearsals at the Community Centre with Ken and Nigel.
Nigel confides in Ken that he’s going to approach an actress friend with a view to replacing Mary.

However, the Weatherfield legend gets the shock of his life when the friend turns out to be Martha.
How will Ken and Martha react when they come face to face?
Martha was last seen on screen in 2009 when Ken left her to sail away on her boat alone as decided to go back to his wife Deidre Barlow following their fling.
As Stephanie returns to the cobbles, Daily Star has taken a look inside her life away from the show.
Stephanie is best known for her TV roles in BBC drama Tenko, ITV drama Connie and for playling Sable Colby in ABC soap operas The Colbys and Dynasty.
She subsequently starred in the films Troop Beverly Hills, The Wolves of Willoughby Chase and television series Sister Kate for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
Her other television roles include Phyl Oswyn in the ITV prison-based drama series Bad Girls and Lorraine in the Sky One sitcom Trollied.
She first played Martha in long-running ITV soap opera Corrie in 2009 and will reprise her role this week.
The TV star, now 75, married actor John McEnery in 1973 and she became pregnant shortly after their wedding.
However, she suffered a miscarriage when she was three months pregnant.
They separated in 1979 but stayed married for over another 10 years.
Stephanie and John share two daughters together.
She went on to date former cricketer Imran Khan in the 1980s and later a politician who became Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018.
Her fiancé is Bernie Greenwood, a doctor she was introduced to online by a mutual friend.
Fans of the 1971 movie The Nightcomers will remember Stephanie stripped off completely naked for a steamy sex scene.
The actress, who plays Miss Jessel in the film, showed off her bare breasts and bottom during the raunchy moment.
Miss Jessel falls under Pete Quintr's (Marlon Brando) spell and despite her repulsion the two embark on a sadomasochistic love affair.
The children begin spying on Quint and Jessel's violent trysts and mimic what they see, including the bondage, culminating in Miles (Christopher Ellis) nearly pushing Flora (Verna Harvey) off a building to her death.
Stephanie is an ambassador for the deaf and works alongside several charities to support the hearing impaired.
She was born completely deaf in her right ear and with only 80% hearing in her left but she has truend her disability into a strength.
For years she tried to cover it up, pretending to be bored with the conversation, excluding herself and refusing to learn sign language.
She said previously: "I have a great empathy for people with hearing loss. People don’t have respect for deaf people because you can’t see it.”
"If I hadn’t been deaf I wouldn’t have been such a strong person. You have to make disadvantages your advantages."
Stephanie was successfully treated for skin cancer in 2009. She had a recurrence of the disease in 2011 but has again recovered.
Bill Roache friendship
The actress previously spent four months at Corrie as Martha and formed a lasting friendship with actor William Roache, who has written the foreword to her book.
Opening up about the Corrie legend Bill, Stephanie said: "He’s a lovely man. He’s just put me on to a doggie psychic.
"I wanted to know what I could do about my badly behaved barking dog and why she was so snarly with others.
" I only have two dogs at the moment. I tend to adopt and rehouse."
Stephanie has credited Bill as she reason why she's returning to the ITV soap as she enjoys working with him.
