New York-based designer Thom Browne launched his namesake label two decades ago, becoming identifiable through formal collections with an athletic backbone. While the brand recently released a commemorative fashion book, it debuts a matching capsule collection to mark its 20th anniversary.
Thom Browne’s latest offering expands his co-ed universe through elevated uniforms that promote the brand’s 2003 founding year. Brand staples are revisited with slight graphic outlines, seeing navy-coloured blazers, trousers, varsity jackets, and polos boast signature stripes and birthday numerals. Pleated skirts and hooded outerwear are calm and fitted, while floor-length coats, tees, and knitwear land in white, grey, and red tones.
Thom Browne’s “2003” collection is completed with mirrored round-framed eyewear and an exclusive leather handbag boasting textured details and gold hardware.
Take a closer look at Thom Browne’s new collection in the gallery above. It will be released on October 9 in-store and online via Thom Browne.
